Ouro Preto Gold Mine Tour

It’s located in betwen Ouro Preto and Mariana. This mine is the only one open for tourism in Brazil. The tour is made by trolley on a 315 meters ride, reaching 120 meters deep and takes approximately 45 minutes. Nine different gallery levels on a sixteen linear kilometers of extension. Besides gold, there is copper sulfate, arsenic, pyrite, iron ore and turmanilite. Only 7 kilometers away from Ouro Preto.
